So, what’s wrong with Ponte Vedra Beach? Absolutely nothing. Ponte Vedra beach is located just eighteen miles southeast of downtown Jacksonville and is only about a 26 mile drive to St. Augustine. If you require great schools, great shopping, great churches, great neighbors, and a great beach, you have to look here. Ponte Vedra Beach is considered a higher income area with great tourist resorts. Some of the popular resorts are Ponte Vedra Inn and Club, the Lodge and Club, and the Marriott at Sawgrass. For such a prestigious town, you’ll be surprised at the range of home options: from the beachfront mansion to the cunning cottage nestled in the woods. And golf, you ask? OMG. Don’t get me started! You know that PVB is home to the ‘fifth major,’ the Players’ Championship, right? I do believe that your chances of living on a golf course are greater here than in any other community – anywhere. So, exactly how many golf courses are there in Ponte Vedra Beach? Trick question: No one knows for sure. In addition Ponte Vedra has great shops, restaurants, a live music venue, beautiful beaches, boating, and tennis. I love taking a drive down A1A and looking at all of the beautiful homes on the Intracoastal and the Atlantic Ocean.
